Cardiff Dough & Co Established in June 2020, Ash and Rach, Husband and Wife, spent their days perfecting the ultimate brioche doughnut. A few hundred doughnuts later, and after feeding every friend and family member in sight, they knew they were onto something special. An Instagram page followed… and things blew up. Farmers’ markets, endless queues, and sell-outs every weekend — it all got a bit wild! Soon after came our first pop-up shop in Roath, where the local love for fresh dough and good vibes really took off! Fast forward to today — we’ve got our own bakery in Rumney, Cardiff, where all the magic happens. Every doughnut and cookie is made fresh from scratch, ready to hit our American Doughnut Van, our converted Doughnut horse box as well as private jobs, food festivals, music events, cafes and gyms across South Wales. From a lockdown hobby to a local favourite — and we’re just getting started!
The support was unbelievable. The queues went on and on until we again couldn’t produce enough. We recruited three members staff to help with demand and what a difference that made. Cardiff Dough and Co made a little name for themselves at this shop and will always remember Clearwater Way, Roath.
Onwards and Upwards! Cardiff Dough and Co now have a new production unit/bakery in Rumney, Cardiff. This is where the magic happens. All products are made within this unit fresh daily. We have a small collection point at the Rumney Unit as well as transporting to our doughnut van, farmers markets, events and wholesale customers, in and around South Wales.
